Virtual private network set up is very easy to do. In a Windows based environment the process is a fairly straightforward one to do. The following description of steps is for a Microsoft Windows XP VPN Setup.
Create it: To begin, start your set up by going to your start menu and select settings and click on Network Connections. This will take you to the New Connection Wizard Advance it: Once you get to the New Connection Wizard, click Next to get to the next step. Then click Finish to complete the wizard instillation. Connect: On the next screen you’ll be prompted to type your username and password into the window, then click next. You’ll be taken to an authentication screen as your computer tries to set up the VPN on your computer. Following this, your VPN is connected. However setting up and maintaining a VPN need not be difficult at all. You can set up a VPN with a linksys router or you can set it up through Windows automatically.
